Purpose
Body Maps are an integral part of a service user's care - especially in instances of wound management. The ability to capture this information in a structured way at point of care, using visual tools, is extremely effective. Further, the added value of being able to look back on these observations over an extended period of time, both for individuals and across a service, is useful in learning vital lessons through the accumulated data and knowledge.
Potential Use
With the ability to create bespoke forms in Sekoia, you have the option to include multiple choice questions and open comment fields to record your observations. However, along with this you can also make an image available (such as a Body Map) that staff are able to easily mark on (reference: red circle seen on image below). You also have the ability to upload pictures, which gives even more clarity. Being able to make such comprehensive observations in a matter of minutes at point of care enhances good communication and overview among staff, whilst also facilitating accurate and detailed documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
